Global Union of Tshung Tsin Hakka Associations Congress 全球客家.崇正会联合总会大会

The 2012 Global Union of Tshung Tsin Hakka Associations Congress was held in Shenzhen, China on 17th & 18th November 2012.

The Hakka Association of Western Australia Inc. (HakkaWA) and Australia Hakka Business Council Inc. HakkaCom) were represented by President of HakkaWA, Deputy President of HakkaCom Zhang Xiaoting, Vice President of HakkaCom Qian Guiyuan, Vice President of HakkaWA Norman Chia and Committee members Annie Wong & Zhang Aihong.

全球客家.崇正会联合总会大会于2012年11月17 至18日在中国深圳招开。西澳客家公会由会长，副会长谢贵财，及理事王月晶代表出席。澳洲客家商会由署理会长张小庭，副会长钱桂源， 和理事张爱鸿代表出席。

11月9日上午，台北市福华大飯店福华厅，主席台背景展现 "海外客家2012社团负责人谘询会议" 字样，"好客台湾 .世界新都" 的口号语录鲜明醒目。

台湾总统马英九先生主持开幕典礼. 他说：＂来到客家人盛会，有回家的感觉，这是因为自己就是客家人，而不是客人！＂

理事小叶及夫人卢玉莲代表了本会，披上西澳客家公会负责人外衣，受邀出席。

国民党荣誉主席丶台湾客家总会长吴伯雄先生拨空出席午宴，并逐桌举杯问候。

Our Association was invited by the Hakka Affairs Council of the Taiwan Government to attend The Overseas Hakka Community Leaders Advisory meeting in Taipei, which was held from 8th to 11th November 2012.

Our Committee member Xiao Ye and wife represented our Association to attend the meeting which was opened by the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Mr Ma Yin Jiu, who is also a Hakka.

Spring Wildflowers Picnic & BBQ 春 季 野 餐 烧 烤 野 花 欣 赏 会

HakkaWA Members had a Spring Picnic & BBQ to enjoy the spring weather and wildflowers at our hosts Honorary Advisor Mr & Mrs Edward Kuh’s property on Sunday 21 October 2012.

The property at Roleystone is a 5-acres site with original rural settings. The Wildflowers and fruit blossoms were still around for all to enjoy.

The graceful hosts prepared plenty of food for the picnic and the BBQ. Members also brought a lot of food and drinks. All had a good time!

Penang & West Malaysia Durian Tour 槟城西马榴莲游

The Penang/ Ipoh / Cameron Highlands durian & food trail tour took place from 1 July to 8 July 2012.

The famous Penang durians were in season at that time, and the group took every opportunity to taste and savour the different varieties. In Penang alone, 8 varieties of the top durians in the world were tasted. 

In Ipoh the famous Musang King variety was purchased for the group by Juliet Chin and her sister Joyce and brother-in-law Chong.

The group also tasted the various local famous hawker foods and delicacies as the tour went from Penang to Ipoh, and then on the way down to KL toured other areas such as the Cameron Highlands.

2012年7月1日星期日出发，为期一周左右的会员北西马之旅已被称为“榴莲和美食之旅“。

此行达到了主要目的使会员们能有更密切及更好的交流。开始它是为了品尝著名的槟城榴莲，因7月份正是榴莲季节。

我们品尝了各种当地有名的食品和美味佳肴，然后一路游山玩水，参观一些从槟城到怡保和吉隆坡一路上的旅游胜地，如金马仑高原。
